Ojasam Consulting & Services Pvt. Ltd. (a subsidiary of Ojasam LLC, USA), is  growing rapidly and needs several strong senior data engineers for our client engagements and internal Data Engineering practice.

Looking for passionate Sr. Data Engineers to help develop enterprise data warehouse for clients. Design and code efficient solutions for challenging problems, enabling the transformation toward data driven business decisions. The candidate will need a strong foundation in enabling data platforms for machine learning.  The ideal candidate has experience designing and developing data pipelines in Python, carefully analyzing data requirements, creating data pipelines from multiple data sources, and working side-by-side with data scientists to develop and implement machine learning models. Work with agile team consisting of business analysts and developers. Ideally able to collaborate with US teams. Onsite, Hybrid, or 100% remote options will be considered for the right talent.

Responsibilities: 

• Design, develop, test, automate, and support complex solutions to extract, transform, load, and make available data for advanced analytics.
• Design tables, views, and stored procedures
• Advanced knowledge of SSIS
• Architecting and enabling complex data platforms to serve machine learning/predictive analytics models
• Carefully analyzing data requirements and procuring data sources
• Designing and developing complex data pipelines in Python
• Architecting and designing sustainable applications
• Serving machine learning models including:
  • Developing and tuning data pipelines
  • Developing REST APIs
  • OAuth2 security development
  • Monitoring and refreshing models
• Support positive change and promote innovative application of technology
• Participate in open communication and collaboration with your team, business partners, management, and other Information Technology personnel
• Evaluate and implement new Information Technology concepts and techniques, technical and industry developments, and services
• Mentor junior data engineers
• Have broad understanding of technology stack
• Comply with established standards and guidelines related to the design, construction, testing, and deployment activities
• Partner with team on project planning, technical design, development, and solution deployment functions
• Support and troubleshoot existing data pipelines, data products, and reports
• Identify opportunities in business processes, system capabilities, and delivery methodologies for continuous improvement

Qualifications:

• 8-12 years of strong Data Engineering experience
• 3-5+ years on a data-focused team, responsible for data warehousing, analytics, and/or reporting
• Strong SQL Server experience – stored procedures, performance tuning, advanced queries
• Data mapping/modeling experience in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Service (IICS) or Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) a plus
• Experience in all of these areas is extremely helpful:
  • Object oriented programming, preferably Python
  • Data design
  • SQL
  • Data pipelines using Python
  • REST APIs
  • OAuth2 security
  • Microsoft Azure DevOps
  • Tableau
  • ServiceNow developer
• Tableau experience a plus
• Experience with agile frameworks a plus
• Exposure to Insurance domain, in particular Property & Casualty is a plus
• Collaborative skills working within a project team with diverse skillsets
• Communication skills including oral, written, and presentation
• Stakeholder management, leadership experience, and mentoring junior team members is a plus
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and techniques
