Job Description:


  • Understand social media platforms and the intrinsic difference in the data generated from the different channels


  • Ability to marry different social media analytics KPIs like sentiment analysis, channel sources, engagement etc. to create compelling data stories that answers the business needs of the client


  • The experience and ability to look at large volumes of unstructured social media data and look at it from a strategic lens and successfully disseminate that train of thought to the team members


  • Evaluate and guide the teams on building robust advanced search queries with Boolean operators and hands-on experience working on multiple social media aggregators


  • Strong understanding in the workings of other digital data sources like secondary sources, website data etc. to provide a holistic solution to the client


  • Understands how brands utilize the social media space and an understanding of how social media is used by consumers in different industries like pharma, entertainment, consumer goods etc.


  • Has to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously – communicating with the clients, understanding the requirements and cascading it to the team, monitor internal deadlines and making sure the deadlines are met diligently


  • Keeping abreast of current events to better understand user behavior (or key segments Millennials, Gen-Z, Gen-Y etc.)


  • Having a strong eye for detail in finding inconsistencies in output necessary for flawless client deliveries


  • Providing constructive criticism to the analysts to help them make improvements and also be responsible for their training and career development


  • Ability and experience in working under tight deadlines and willingness to extend based on business requirements




  • 3-8 years of experience in executing social media analytics projects end-to-end


  • A masters degree in management or business analytics from top tier management schools


  • Having experience of working in a global business set up involving off shore business stakeholders (preferably the US region)


  • Proficiency in using tools/software such as Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Meltwater, Cision, Critical Mention, Social Studio, etc., and any experience working with databases like Factiva, LexisNexis, Hoovers, etc. will be an added advantage


  • Strong problem solving & communication skills (verbal and written)


  • Should be an independent thinking, self-motivated individual with a go getting attitude


  • Ability to analyze digital/website data would be an added advantage
