Job Description
ob Description / Responsibilities*
The vacancy is for the position of Manager, Audit and Assurance. The nature of projects done in the IA Department are:
– Process audits
– Internal Audits
– ERP audit
– HR audit (Payroll function)
– EBO and Franchisee audits
– Special Purpose Audit
– Statutory compliance audit
– Bank audit
Audits will consist of an analysis of provisions of:
– Income Tax
– GST
– EPF/ESI (Labor laws)
– FEMA
– RBI
– IFRS
– US GAAP
– Ind AS
– Other statutes
– Verifying compliance with them, reporting deviations, explaining to the management & providing solutions to rectify non-compliance & avoid non-compliance in future.
The Manager will lead the client team(s) for the above types of projects. His role would include the following:
– Acquiring New Clients for Audit Services
– Identifying Manpower Requirements
– Ensuring the retention of recruited employees
– Ensuring the Audit Clients are satisfied with the service offered
– Lead 6-7 teams of 3 members each in performing the above projects for clients
– Prepare for & lead reviews with client CEOs& other senior management
– Meet client employees at different levels to enable effective implementation of suggested solutions.
– Train in-house talent on audit skillsets and statutory amendments
Preferred prior experience
– Experience in the Internal audit department.
– Employees of reputed audit firms wishing to make a career shift by leading teams.
– Good exposure during their articles period of three years.
