MUST-HAVES:
- 5+ years of experience working in logistics, warehouse, or transportation operations
- Strong team player.
- Ability to manage, coach, and provide training for direct reportees.
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills.
- Working knowledge of logistics and inventory software.
- Should have handled international Courier partner independently & handling customs clearance, CHA, etc.
NICE TO HAVES: MBA preferably in supply chain management, operations, logistics, business administration, transportation, or engineering
JOB DESCRIPTION:Head of Logistics (M/SM)
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring logistics operations such as warehousing, inventory, transportation, and supply chain process.
- Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehousing, transportation, and customer service.
- Ensure that distribution and logistics is managed effectively and efficiently.
- Manage inventory as well as warehouse, transportation, and other logistics processes.
- Strategic tie-ups with multiple courier partners to ensure PAN India and international coverage at the least possible cost.
- Set up distribution networks in the international markets.
- Prepare product demand forecasts based on historical sales to determine material order quantities and transportation requirements.
- Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency
- Implement Policies, Procedures, and Methodology to improve cost-effectiveness and integrity within the supply chain.
- Need to have knowledge on End to End API integration.
- Develop new strategies to streamline processes and reduce cost
- Ensure that quality, quantity, customer satisfaction, and financial commitments are met.
- Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements
