We are looking for a pleasant Front Desk Representative to undertake all receptionist and clerical duties at the desk of our main entrance. You will be the “face” of the company for all visitors and will be responsible for the first impression we make.

The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easy-going personality while also being very perceptive and disciplined. You should be able to deal with complaints and give accurate information. A customer-oriented approach is essential.

The goal is to make guests and visitors feel comfortable and valued while on our premises.

Job Description (continued) Essential Functions include but are not limited to the following –


  • Transmits and receives telephone messages and sets up Parents’ update calls.
  • Date stamps, sorts, and racks incoming mail and messages.
  • Answers inquiries pertaining to school services, registration of parents.
  • Keep records of materials availability and students’ accounts. Operates the front office computer system. Makes photocopies if needed.
  • Computes bills collect payment.
  • Promotes and supports Brand Voice and Brand initiatives such as curriculum activities and Associate Programs.
  • Actively builds awareness of the Brand to Parents.
  • Provides and ensures high-quality Parents-Teachers relations. Receives and resolves complaints in a manner consistent with company policy. Makes high authority on Duty aware of any complaints.
  • Maintains the desired levels of quality assurance ratings, including guest comment cards, accounting audit, and inspection scores.
  • Confers and cooperates with other departments as needed to ensure coordination of activities.
  • Works toward a 90% walk-in conversion rate goal.
  • Ensures Inn compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Adheres to all safety procedures and informs management of any unsafe conditions.
  • Attends meetings and training as requested.

Other duties may be assigned based on company needs.

Job requirements

  • Proven experience as front desk representative, agent, or relevant position
  • Familiarity with office machines (e.g. fax, printer, etc.)
  • Knowledge of office management and basic bookkeeping
  • Proficient in English (oral and written)
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word)
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Customer service orientation
  • High School diploma; additional qualifications will be a plus
  • Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
  • General knowledge of computers.

Special Skills and/or Abilities

  • Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
  • Maintains professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  • Customer service orientation;
  • 2+ Years relevant experience. preferable in resort setup;
  • Knowledge of office management and basic bookkeeping;
  • Problem-solving skills;
  • Familiarity with office machines (e.g. fax, printer etc.);
  • Media / Entertainment / Internet;
  • Applicant should be from Hotel Management background;
  • Ability to interact with executives and clients;
  • Ability to work on your own and as part of a team;
  • Personable, energetic individual with excellent organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills;

What qualifications do you need to be a front-office executive:

  • Although no specific qualification is required for one to be a Front Office Executive. Still to be able to do his work efficiently and confidently one should at least be graduate with good command of English and some local language. Besides one should be aware of the basic functioning of the organization and about the job profile of his bosses.
