    1. Opening for Jr. Design Engineer at Chakan,Pune- 4 Openings

    Job Description

    • Design patterns, moulds for various composites processes(Hand Lay up, Resin Infusion, preparemolding, compression molding, etc)
    • Design both prototype and production fixtures for trimming, assembly, checking, etc
    • Core-cavity extraction, design, DFM, assembly design, etc
    • Generate work scope, BOM, timeline, etc and be the organizations point of contact to customers.
    • Support marketing, purchase, production and QC for 2D designs, specifications and work instructions.
    • Work with management to design and develop innovative product ideas in composites

    Skills Required

    • Must be hands-on with CATIA and SOLIDWORKS software and proficient in core-cavity extraction, surfacing, product design, etc
    • Should have worked with Automotive OEMS, metro rail and Defense sector PSU’s / private players
    • Experience / exposure to prototyping, composites processes, vacuum forming is considered advantageous
    • Understanding of FMEA, BOM, project timeline generation etc.
    • Should be a technical person with basic understanding of engineering concepts, composites, plastics, etc
    • excellent interpersonal skills, a team first person with good command over written & spoken English.
    • Logical thinker, Attention to detail and willingness to learn new concepts and processes is desired.

    Educational Qualification
    BE/Diploma in mechanical. PG in tool design preferred
    Work Experience
    1-2 yrs , with previous job in composites, plastics or prototyping industry or with jigs fixture design.
