Job Description

  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure optimal performance of equipment and facilities in a chemical manufacturing environment.
  • Manage a team of maintenance technicians and supervisors, assigning tasks and providing guidance as needed.
  • Schedule and prioritize maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental regulations.
  • Develop and maintain a system for tracking and analyzing equipment performance data, and use this information to make data-driven decisions about maintenance priorities and resource allocation.
  • Manage and maintain equipment inventory, ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in maintenance practices and processes in the chemical industry.
  • Develop and maintain a preventive maintenance program to ensure that equipment is maintained according to manufacturer specifications and industry best practices for chemical industry.
  • Oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of new equipment and facilities in the chemical industry.
  • Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring that expenditures are within budget and that cost-saving opportunities are identified and pursued.
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulatory requirements for the chemical industry.

Job Requirements

  • Btech/BE/Diploma in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in a maintenance role in the chemical manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as maintenance best practices in the chemical industry.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a team of maintenance technicians and supervisors in the chemical industry.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions in the chemical industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in the chemical industry.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards for the chemical industry.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in the chemical industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation in the chemical industry.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with maintenance management software and Microsoft Office applications for the chemical industry.
