Job Description:
•Min of 3+ years’ experience in Business Intelligence software development and maintenance with BI software such as Qlik, Tableau, Power BI.
•Min of 3+ years’ experience with writing and debugging SQL queries Have a working understanding of visual analytics best practices, development processes, and knowledge of typical BI & analytics tools and technologies (Qlik, Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
•Having good experience in work with partners to define, build, test and deploy production dashboards to support reporting and visualization needs
•Ability to translate the business use case into requirements and execution by understanding the variables, accessing backend data warehouse, ETL systems and database/data stores and then utilization of Qlik/Tableau to build sophisticated workflows and dashboards
•Development of new metrics and key performance indicators Management and administration of user accounts and access to the Tableau environment
•Creation of efficient and stable automated data workflows Collaborate with the data engineering team in support of the reporting, metrics, and dashboards
•Collaborate with researchers and business owners to develop use cases and reporting/dashboard requirements and perform user acceptance testing Communicate, explain, and train users on interpreting the dashboards, especially areas of uncertainty and limitations
•Expertise in using in-depth Business Intelligence capabilities, techniques and standards to produce rich context via dashboards and reports Experienced knowledge in data modeling, data warehousing including standard methodologies and impact analysis
•Experience working with a variety of business owners to convert business requirements to wireframes/dashboards Solid ability to interface and communicate optimally with business representatives
