Chinar Forge Limited (a part of the Shital Group – India’s largest producer of blankets and other domestic textiles) is India’s largest floor covering manufacturer and is a leading producer of yarn, area rugs, bath mats, non woven carpets and Wall to Wall carpets. In ten years the company has added considerable capacity and has grown from being a simple doormat and rug manufacturer to being capable of producing very high quality and technically superior broadloom and tile form carpets using solution dyed nylon and polypropylene yarn and printed nylon cut pile and loop pile carpets.
The Status flair for growth and expansion continues in the various categories with the introduction of the 1/12” gauge Scroll tufting machine in 2007 and the Carpet Tile plant in 2008. Today Status Contract is working on establishing its Status Contract Partners dealer program and to make this program a blueprint for successful retailer/ manufacturer relations, thus blending each of the companies’ strengths i.e. technological advances, distribution networks, product innovations, customer bases, marketing strategies, employee excellence, etc. into the overall organization.
