How Foundation is an NGO in India, that directly benefits more than 15000 children and their families every year in more than 500 remote villages and slums in three states of India through more than 200 direct welfare projects on Education Healthcare Livelihood and Women Empowerment, Environment. How Foundation is a non profit organization as of March 2018 operating in three states namely Pune in Maharashtra-Nagpur, Nashik, Mumbai, Bangalore in Karnataka and Chennai in Tamil Nadu.
Village Belsar in Taluka Purandar District Pune has been adopted for holistic development Belsar village with historical heritage of more than 900 families where women empowerment through self-help groups. Various programs like tree planting, beautification of the village, construction of public toilets, cleanliness drive, health camps are being implemented in this village. The village work was started on 5th June 2022, which is World Environment Day.
Where more than 6000 women are provided with free health checkup free treatment medicines and free sanitary napkins are also distributed this organization has received the Moi Gram Panchayat Seva Sahyog Award from Gram Panchayat Mohit while working for environmental protection, many cleanliness drives have been carried out by How Foundation so far. Mainly fort cleaning campaign.
How Foundation is doing its social work like beach cleaning campaign, cleaning of shrines and awareness of the importance of cleanliness etc. and for this work How Foundation has been awarded Swachhta Dut Award by Ved Trust Alandi.
